About Services Process FAQ Contact

Practical AI that fits your business, not the other way around

We build, train and deploy machine learning models for companies that need measurable results from their data. No buzzwords, just working software.

Who we are

We started AI Insight Trends because too many companies were buying AI tools they could not use. Vendors sold dashboards full of graphs, but nobody on the client side knew what the numbers meant or what to do next.

Our team of eight includes applied mathematicians, Python engineers and a former supply-chain director. That mix matters. The maths keeps models honest, the engineering makes them fast, and the operational experience keeps us focused on outcomes you can measure in pounds and hours, not abstract accuracy scores.

We work from Northern Ireland and serve clients across the UK and Ireland. Most of our projects run between six and fourteen weeks from first call to production deployment.

What we do

Each service starts with your data and your question. We scope tightly, deliver in iterations and hand over models you can actually run without us.

Predictive analytics

We build regression and classification models that forecast demand, churn or equipment failure. A recent retail client reduced overstock by 23% within three months of going live with our demand model.

Computer vision

Quality inspection, document scanning, shelf auditing. We fine-tune detection models on your own images, typically needing 300 to 500 labelled samples to reach production-grade accuracy.

Natural language processing

Ticket classification, sentiment analysis, entity extraction from contracts. We integrate with your existing CRM or ticketing system so results appear where your team already works.

ML ops and model management

Models degrade. We set up automated retraining pipelines, monitoring dashboards and rollback procedures so your predictions stay accurate without manual baby-sitting.

Data strategy consulting

Before writing any code we audit your data estate: what you collect, where it lives, how clean it is. This audit typically takes two weeks and produces a prioritised roadmap of AI opportunities ranked by effort and expected return.

Custom LLM integration

We connect large language models to your internal knowledge base using retrieval-augmented generation. Your staff can ask questions in plain English and get answers grounded in your own documents, not generic internet text.

How a project works

Four phases, clear handoffs, no surprises.

1

Discovery

We spend one to two weeks understanding your data, your constraints and the question you need answered. This phase ends with a written scope document and a fixed-price quote.

2

Prototype

We build a working proof-of-concept on a sample of your data. You see real outputs within three weeks, not slides.

3

Production

We harden the model, write tests, package it as an API or batch job and deploy it into your infrastructure. Average production phase: four to six weeks.

4

Support

After launch we monitor model performance for 90 days. If accuracy drifts below the agreed threshold we retrain at no extra charge during this window.

Frequently asked questions

Honest answers to the things clients ask before signing.

How much data do I need?
It depends on the task. A text classifier can work well with 1,000 labelled examples. A demand forecasting model usually needs 18 to 24 months of transaction history. During the discovery phase we assess what you have and tell you frankly whether it is enough.
Do you work with our existing cloud provider?
Yes. We deploy on AWS, Azure and GCP. If you run on-premise infrastructure we can package models as Docker containers that run behind your firewall.
What does a typical project cost?
Most engagements fall between £15,000 and £80,000 depending on complexity. We quote fixed prices after the discovery phase so there are no open-ended bills. Smaller proof-of-concept projects can start from £8,000.
Who owns the model and the code?
You do. Every line of custom code and every trained model weight we produce during a project belongs to you. We retain no licence to resell or reuse your proprietary models.
Can you train our internal team to maintain the model?
Absolutely. We offer a two-day hands-on workshop at the end of each project covering model monitoring, retraining triggers and basic troubleshooting. The workshop is included in projects over £30,000 and available as an add-on for smaller ones.
